Yoneyama Akiomi draws from the Gyeryongsan ceramic tradition of Korea — a lineage known for its stamped and inlaid decoration on dark iron-rich bodies. This Hana-Mishima bowl carries that inheritance directly: a charcoal-dark clay ground interrupted by repeating patterns of white inlay — floral stamps, geometric forms — applied before the glaze, set into the surface before firing.

The result is not imitation. It is study, and study made into something the hands want to hold. The dark body absorbs light; the white patterns return it in fragments. At 10.5cm across and 8cm tall, the form asks for both palms.

Stored in a fitted wooden box.
