A chawan by Maeda Yasuaki, working under the name Taimei, glazed in the Ki-Seto manner — that soft, warm yellow that holds its warmth without spectacle. The surface carries a hammered quality, the glaze pooling and lifting along the texture. Approximately 13 cm in diameter, 8.5 cm tall. Some tape marks present. Accompanied by original signed box.
