Oil spots drift across a dark ground like stars through cloud.

Kurokawa Seisetsu works from Zentei-an Goho kiln — a studio rooted in Zen temple tradition. This tenmoku chawan carries that origin quietly. The glaze is not a performance. It is a record of fire and intention.

Gold-brown oil spots scatter across the deep iron-brown tenmoku surface. The effect is rustic rather than formal — less the celestial tenmoku of palace collections, more the bowl a monk reaches for at dawn. There is weight in the hand. There is silence in the surface.

The base bears the "Seisetsu" seal pressed into the clay before firing. The kiln's Zen lineage is not decoration. It informs what the bowl is for.
