A spring field rendered in ink — grasses and wildflowers moving across a cream crackle ground. This Kishu-ware tea bowl from Aoi kiln carries the quiet confidence of a piece made for use, not display: the glaze cracks have settled into themselves, each line a record of the kiln's breath.

The kaō of Houunsai, 15th Grand Master of Urasenke, appears on the wooden box — an authentication that places this bowl within the living tradition of Japanese tea culture. The box shows honest age; the bowl itself does not.

Diameter 12.3 cm, height 8.3 cm. Wooden box included.
