The mei is Suehiro — 末廣, spreading fortune. The name was given by Hasegawa Kanshu, a priest of Daitokuji, inscribed on the box lid in his hand. That inscription is not ornament. It is a chain of custody reaching back through the temple's long silence.Ichiraku's bowl is classic black raku: deep, rounded, thick-walled. The glaze is lustrous and textured, neither uniform nor restless. A gold seal marks the base. The bowl absorbs light rather than returning it.Holding it, you understand why this form has persisted. It fits the hands as though it was always going to. The weight is correct. The depth is correct. No damage. Tomobako with Daitokuji inscription accompanies.
