Kosobu-yaki operated in Takatsuki, Osaka — a domain kiln that produced Hagi-inspired work through the Edo and Meiji periods. The fourth generation maintained that lineage with a soft lavender-gray glaze that moves like silk across the body, the color named for it: Hagi no Kinu, the silk of the hagi flower. The form is generous without heaviness. Tomobako present.
🔹 [ BASIC DETAILS ]
• Artist: 4th Generation Kosobu-yaki
